Overview

This article describes improvements to the Campaign Timeline View in GuideSpark’s communication platform. It introduces a new four-tab structure for each message, including Status, Properties, Actions, and Notes. These tabs provide enhanced functionality for monitoring message status, editing properties, performing actions, and adding notes. The update also includes an auto-save feature for the message section.

Information

Each message now has its status and settings broken out into four tabs that allow you to monitor the status of the message (whether a piece of communication has been sent out), as well as edit its properties (such as delivery date and message destination). These tabs and their contents are shown above the always-visible message section, which now saves automatically.

Status

The Status tab is where you can check on the status of the message. It will clearly let you know any conditions, such as approving the message, that must be fulfilled before the message is sent out. If all conditions are met, the Status tab will let you know that the message is ready for its scheduled delivery at the time specified. (You may also use the Send Now option in the Actions tab to send a message immediately.)

Properties

The Properties tab lets you adjust the type of message, its delivery date, a reminder cadence, and the destination of the message’s Call to Action (CTA) button. It will also show you which audience this message will be sent to (audiences can be changed in Preferences > Audience Settings).

Actions

The Actions tab allows you to approve the message for journeys that require message approval, pause the delivery of the message, send the message immediately, or delete the message from the campaign.

Notes

The Notes tab allows you to change the title of the message, as well as leave any notes for yourself or any other team members.
