Tivian Communicate XI (CXI) can generate web banners for you to embed in your company’s intranet pages. Once created and embedded, you can change the message and the destination link as often as you like.

The instructions below will replace the existing message and link in your live web banners on the date that you schedule, no additional embed codes will be needed.

Note: The instructions below are for updating a web banner that has already been set up. Creating a web banner requires some experience with HTML and may need to involve your intranet administrator. Update a web banner

    1. From the Campaign section, click on Add New
    2. A pop-up window will appear
    3. Select Web Banner from the Type options to the left, and click CreateWebBanner1.png

Next:

  1. You will be asked to select an existing web banner for your message update.
  2. A new message template will appear
  3. Adjust the following preferences to suit your needs
      1. Message Title: This is the title you will see in your campaign overview, as well as what will appear in the Results section for tracking purposes. Name it after the message or the content experience you are communicating about. Only visible to administrators.
      2. Notes: A place to give additional context for the asset. These notes are only visible to administrators.
      3. Date: Select the date when you wish the new banner content to replace the old web banner content.
      4. Reminder: Set a date you’d like the system to email you a reminder about this.
      5. Destination: This is what your call to action button on the banner will be linked to. Usually a piece of content from your Content Experience Library.WebBanner2.png
      6. Fill out your message fields:
          1. Subject: This will be formatted as your web banner headline.
          2. Call to Action: This is the short text that will direct your audience to the platform. WebBanner3.png

NOTE: A preview of your banner will appear to the right of the timeline, click on it at any time to preview what it will look like.
