About postcards

Tivian Communicate XI (CXI) generates postcards you can print and mail to your employees’ home addresses. It’s a great way to reach your employees and their family members. Postcards can also be printed and placed in your employees’ work mail cubbies or on their desks as ‘desk drops.’

Employees are taken to the Communicate Journey experience by accessing the unique web link, texting a keyword, or using a QR code with their smartphone.

Postcard Templates

If your Communicate Journey’s audience is outside of the US or Spanish speaking, you can select the appropriate template in the Preferences section. This selection will apply to the entire Communicate Journey

  2. Adjust the following preferences around your message to suit your needs:
  • Date: Select the date when the postcards will be mailed, or otherwise distributed.
  • Reminder: Set a date you’d like the system to email you and any assigned Notification Recipients a reminder about this message. This is useful if you have to print them ahead of time. The reminder default is 2 days before the date designated above.
  • Destination: This is what your postcard’s text keyword, QR code, and Short-URL will be linked to. Usually a piece of content from the Experience section of that Communicate Journey.
    • The image that serves as the thumbnail in the content experience will serve as the image for your postcard.
    • If you choose not to link to content within the experience but choose an outside link, you will be prompted to upload an image.
