About posters

Tivian Communicate XI (CXI) can generate a poster you can print and post in the workplace. Employees are taken to the Communicate Journey experience by accessing the unique web link, texting a keyword, or using a QR code with their smartphone.

Posters can serve to reinforce messages you’ve already sent out as emails, or as a primary way to reach employees who may not use computers in their workplace. They are a great way to increase awareness of time-sensitive programs and initiatives.

Create a poster

  1. From the Campaign section, click on Add New.
  2. A pop-up window will appear.
  3. Select Poster from the Type options to the left, and click Create.

  1. A new blank poster entry will appear in the timeline and will automatically open to the Properties tab. Adjust the following preferences around your message to suit your needs:
  • Date: Select the date when the posters will be posted.
  • Reminder: Set a date you’d like the system to email you a reminder about this message. This is useful if you have to print them ahead of time. The reminder default is 2 days before the designated delivery date.
  • Destination: This is what your poster’s text keyword, QR code, and Short-URL will be linked to. Usually a piece of content in the Experience section of that Communicate Journey.
    • The image that serves as the thumbnail in the content experience will serve as the image for your poster.
    • If you choose not to link to content within the experience but choose an outside link, you will be prompted to upload an image.

    • Notes: A place to give additional context for the asset. These notes are only visible to team members. Other team members may view the notes in the Communicate Planner section.
